Does it hurt?
 

Basically, Laser  & Electrolysis are both comfortable procedures. Occasionally, due to the proximity of certain nerves or the sensitivity of certain areas, some discomfort may be experienced. However, with ELECTROLYSIS there is normally the equivalent of a pin prick or slight sudden warmth. There are various techniques we utilize to ensure a comfortable treatment.  

 Is it permanent?

Electrolysis is the only permanent method of removing hair. When the papilla has been treated properly, it can never again grow hair. The fact that we are treating second and third generations in many families, can attest to this. All other forms of hair removal are only temporary. 

How long will it take to remove all my excess hair?

This is a very difficult question to answer for the following reasons, all of which effect hair growth:
All temporary methods involve cutting or pulling. What you did previously will determine the amount of time needed.
What type of hair do you have? Wavy, straight, thick, coarse, fine, or curly it does make a difference.
Is your skin overly sensitive? Can we proceed at a normal or slower pace?
The cause of your hair growth and the regularity of treatments.

Does each patient get their own probe?

Patients are not required to buy or keep their own probes. Each patient is treated with a sterile disposable probe.

What type of sterile procedures apply to Electrolysis?

The same sterile procedures utilized in any medical office are what you can expect in an Enhancement Unlimited office.

What areas of the face & body can be treated successfully?

All areas can be treated successfully. For Women the most common areas are Lip, Chin, Sideburns, Eyebrows, Neck, Chest, Stomach, Arms, Legs and Bikini. For Men, hairs between the brows, on the tip of the Nose and Ears, Neck, Back, Chest and Beard area. You should discuss your personal preferences and the results that you would like to achieve with us.

Can ingrown hair be removed from a male beard?

A constant irritant to the shaving male is the ingrown hair, sometimes causing pustules and infections. Removing these hairs permanently is the only answer.

Is Laser or Electrolysis expensive?

Great consideration must be given to the qualifications of your chosen specialist. Equally important are the sterile procedures and the professional office you are treated in.
